Franck Salzwedel is a French Brand Consultant working in fragrance, beauty and fashion. Salzwedel was born in France to German parents; he spent his early years in Asia, which enhanced his senses and gave him a taste for exotic scents and flavors. After graduating from business school in the late '80s he went to study at IFM, the French Fashion Institute in Paris.
Salzwedel’s interest in concepts and imagery led him to Product Development in luxury goods with a focus on fragrance. He held various positions for over 15 years at L’Oréal Luxe. First at Armani where he developed Acqua di Gio and the Mania franchise, then in 2001 he signed the Dutch designers Viktor & Rolf to L’Oréal and worked closely with them on the creation of their signature fragrance, the iconic, Flowerbomb.
In 2007 he established himself in New York City as a Creative Consultant working with clients such as Viktor & Rolf Parfums, L’Oreal Luxe, GRI Retail and The Jones Group among others.
